Project: Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan

THE PROBLEM:
The subject property was regulated under the Georgia EPD’s storm water permit, requiring a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) to ensure that downstream sites and water bodies were not being polluted by runoff from the site.

THE SOLUTION:
The client needed a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) developed for the subject property to ensure compliance with the state permit.

THE RESULT:
We provided the client with a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) as required by the storm water permit. This plan included site background information, the SWPPP committee, all potential pollutant sources and corresponding best management practices, risk identifications, sampling protocols, measures and controls, and inspection reports. The provisions of this plan provided the facility with pollution prevention procedures that aided in the reduction of storm water contamination.
