THE PROBLEM:
The solid waste landfill was required by the EPD to conduct groundwater monitoring during regularly scheduled events to ascertain if contamination was leaving the subject property via the groundwater. The client needed to show that water contaminated by the landfill activities was not leaving the subject property.

THE SOLUTION:
The client needed to have the groundwater sampled, analyzed, and a report prepared to show that no contamination was leaving the subject property due to landfill activities.

THE RESULT:
We provided a detailed bi-annual groundwater monitoring report. The report included the site’s physical location, geological and hydrological makeup, groundwater monitoring system, groundwater monitoring history, groundwater sampling and analysis, and groundwater data evaluation. The bi-annual monitoring report provisions have facilitated the tracking of the site’s monitoring history in order to help regulate and contain contamination levels.
